LITTLE ROCK (KATV)–After several days of covering missing realtor Beverly Carter’s case, Channel 7 found out that around 400 others are still missing in Arkansas.
Tonight we break down the numbers and look into one of the oldest cases available to the public. Not all cases are made public, it’s up to individual law enforcement agencies to make a missing persons case public using the Arkansas Crime Information Center’s database.
Although the FBI’s database has around 400 missing Arkansans listed, the public is only aware of about 35 cases.
