Missing man Charles Engelbracht found dead on Mt. Lemmon

A 43-year-old man missing since early Monday was found dead Wednesday morning on Mt. Lemmon, authorities said.

Charles Engelbracht left his Foothills home at 6 a.m. Monday, and did not arrive at work, a Tucson Police Department spokesman, Officer Brandon Tatum, said in a Tuesday news release asking for public assistance in locating the missing man.

A 43-year-old man who did not arrive at work on Monday morning suffers from an illness which may cause confusion or disorientation, and police are asking for assistance in locating him. Charles Engelbracht left his Foothills home at 6 a.m., but never made it to work at Raytheon, a Tucson Police Department spokesman said.

After leaving his home in the 4900 block of North Louis River Way, near North 1st Avenue and East River Road, Engelbracht “has not been seen since by family, friends or coworkers,” said Officer Brandon Tatum.
