CHICO, Calif. – The search for a missing Chico man ended Saturday morning with the discovery of his body in rural eastern Oregon.

Si Wrigley, 69, had been missing for more than three weeks. Friends said he had embarked on a six-week fishing trip in July, and planned to make stops in Oregon, Idaho and Montana.

Missing man’s truck found in remote eastern Oregon | Local News – Home

CHICO, Calif. – Crews are looking for a Chico man who is missing in a remote area of eastern Oregon.

Friends haven’t heard from Si Wrigley, 69, in more than 2 weeks.

Wrigley’s pickup and trailer were found Friday stuck on a dirt road in a remote area of Oregon. The truck was found south of the town of Adrian not far from the Owyhee Reservoir near the Oregon-Idaho border.

CA – Glenn Co. Sheriff searching for missing man | Local News – Home

The Glenn County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Alex Canto, 44, of Chico, who was reported missing by his girlfriend on Tuesday, April 7.

Monica Smith called the Sheriff’s Office and advised that Canto left on Saturday, April 4, traveling to the Mendocino National Forest in Glenn County west of Elk Creek for a camping trip. Smith said that she received a text message from Canto at 7:15 p.m. saying that he was going up 5,000 feet on Forest Highway 7.

CA – Missing man Douglas Jeffries’ truck found with body inside | Local News – Home

CHICO, Calif. – Investigators have located the truck belonging to a missing Chico man. A man’s body was found in the truck at the bottom of a cliff in remote eastern Tehama County last week.

In a news release issued Monday, Chico Police confirmed the truck belongs to 64-year-old Douglas Jeffries of Chico. Jeffries had been reported missing on November 23. Due to his poor health he was considered at risk. He did not have access to money or bank accounts. At that time Chico Police asked for the public’s help locating Jeffries.

CA – Chico police searching for at-risk missing man Douglas Jefferies

Chico >> Authorities are searching for a 64-year-old man who was last seen four days ago.

Douglas Jefferies of Chico was reported missing to the Chico Police Department on Sunday by a friend who stated it was unusual for Jefferies to leave the area without telling others, according to a Chico police press release. The missing man is also said to spend most of his time at his home.

Jefferies’ family members, who were contacted by detectives, are also unaware of his whereabouts.

The Butte County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Taylor Martin, 21, who was last known to be in the Chico and Paradise areas.

According to officials, Martin’s family hasn’t heard from her since October 8, and they are concerned for her safety.

Missing person: “Silver Alert” for Weston Lachenmeier who may be lost in Chico, CA – Chico Enterprise Record

CHICO >> An 80-year-old man from Arizona could be disoriented and somewhere in Chico. A press release from the Chico Police Department states that Weston Melvin Lachenmeier, of Arizona, was last seen at the Mexican border.

Chico Police received a report that Lachenmeier had been driving from Oregon to Arizona. He called his family on Thursday and said he was “at a little store in Chico,” but did not arrive at his home in Arizona. Tuesday the family called Chico Police.

Border Patrol officials report that Lachenmeier was seen crossing the U.S./Mexico border, returning to the United States at 7:20 p.m. Aug. 20.
