Experts say the disappearance of a retired pastor from Rochester is one of more than 1,000 active missing persons cases involving seniors around the nation.
Sunday, July 5, marks the two-year anniversary of George Vander Weit’s disappearance. Officials believe he left home on a bicycle and has not been heard from since.
Vander Weit, who would now be 72 years old, is just one of more than 1,300 cases of missing adults age 55 and older throughout the nation, according to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System.
