Authorities in central South Dakota believe finding a specific quilt may help in the search for a woman who has been missing for more than a year.

On Monday, the Sanborn County Sheriff’s Office released a picture Rachel Cyriacks with a blanket that was presented to her. Anyone who may have seen the blanket is asked to contact law enforcement.

SD – Authorities fear worst in missing woman case of Rachel Cyriacks

WOONSOCKET — Investigators say they suspect foul play in the disappearance of a Woonsocket woman who has now been missing for a year.

Sanborn County Sheriff Tom Fridley tells The Daily Republic newspaper that neither he nor the family of Rachel Cyriacks think she will be found alive.

WOONSOCKET, SD – Rachel Cyriacks is still missing, but there is a new lead that authorities hope will help them find her.

The Sanborn County Sheriff’s office is holding a silver Chevrolet c1500 pickup that is connected to this case. After looking more closely at the vehicle, officers noticed some damage to the underside of the pickup. That’s a new clue for officers who feared the other leads in the case had dried up.

The Sanborn County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the help in finding a woman who has been missing for more than a week.

Rachel Lucille Cyriacks, 30, of Woonsocket, was last seen at Performance Pet in Mitchell on Dec. 6, and her family has not heard from her since then, according to a news release.
