A desperate 47-day search for a missing New Orleans actor and writer came to a heartbreaking end for family and friends last week with the discovery that Shade Sanguis’ unidentified body had been found by police and was in the possession of the Orleans Parish Coroner for the past five weeks.

Photographer Kristopher “Feral” Hoffman said he is consulting with an attorney to seek access to his brother-in-law’s autopsy report, intake records and an explanation for why he repeatedly was told by a coroner’s office staffer that no Caucasian “John Does” had been recovered in the past seven weeks, when in fact Sanguis’ body had been found Oct. 25.

Donald Joy, 16, was found safe at a transitional homeless shelter in Baltimore City, Maryland after being missing for 19 days.

A volunteer at the Manna House in Baltimore City reportedly recognized Donald from a missing person flyer, according to Donald’s stepmother Sharee. The Manna House is a transitional shelter and soup kitchen that offers assistance and support to the homeless in the area, along with helping them transition to independent living.

The last thing Petty Officer 3rd Class Vincent Ferdin told his mother Rena was, “Happy Birthday.” That was on September 17th, the day before the now 20-year-old went missing.

“He called my sister and I separately, we’re twins, to wish us each a happy birthday,” Rena Ferdin remembers. “We didn’t talk about much else but he sounded like his normal, joyful and silly self. Now we’re left shaking our heads at what happened.”

OK – Missing Arkansas man found dead in Midwest City | News OK

MIDWEST CITY — The body of an Arkansas man who went missing early Thanksgiving Day has been found in a ravine, police said.

The state medical examiner’s office has not positively identified the body as belonging to Brenner Wolfe, 19, of Bentonville, Ark., but tattoos on the body matched Wolfe’s, Midwest City Police Chief Brandon Clabes said.

Six months have passed since 1-year-old Leonna Wright vanished. A frustrated investigator said the case “is dead in the water.”

Dozens of deputies, firefighters, search-and-rescue team members, and volunteers spent three days in an intensive yet fruitless search for Leonna after she was reported missing June 6 from the Edgewood Square apartment complex in Pendleton. Early on, up to eight Anderson County sheriff’s investigators also were assigned to the case.

(KMSP) South St. Paul, Minn. – South St. Paul police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 35-year-old.

Andre Artzel Duncan was reported missing on November 12th after his family didn’t have contact with him for several days, according to police.
