Police in Englewood, Ohio – a suburb just northwest of Dayton – have reason to believe that the May 19 tip that came in about missing Ypsilanti woman Tonya Jackson was a handwritten note by Jackson herself.
According to Englewood Police Department Sgt. Mike Lang, an employee at the Englewood Steak ‘n Shake found the note in a stall inside the women’s restroom on Monday, May 19, before calling it into the police.
“(The note) had her name, the name of the guy, and a description of the vehicle, and indicated that she needed help,” Lang said.
