PLACENTIA ( — The wife of a Placentia man who went missing four years ago suspects her husband was the victim of foul play.

Fontelle Harrod told CBS2’s Serene Branson that she was reunited with her longtime love, Bob, after 60 years. However, on July 27, 2009, a month after she moved from Missouri and they married, he disappeared from their home.

“We started out together. Maybe we can finish up. But I guess it wasn’t to be,” she said.

Although police said their leads in the case have run dry, they’ve recently asked for the assistance of an elite county cold case unit and believe Bob’s case is a suspicious homicide.

Ya know his daughters are a bunch of greedy women. It’s really unfortunate. My heart goes out to you. God bless you.

Follow the money……guess his family got what they wanted. RIP Bob.

It’s so obvious to most people. Why are the police so blind? He obviously was taken from his bed, possibly drugged so he could be taken out. There was no evidence of struggle and the suspect had easy access to the house. Ergo, the daughters! Why do the police not see it? I just watched this on TV and just can’t understand why they just take the daughters’ word for it and disregard the wife’s account of things.

  4. Jennifer says:

Well, wife is a gold digger too. Everybody loves Bob’s money.

I agree. All the posters go on about his greedy daughters but never say anything about his wife. I don’t believe she had anything to do with his disappearance, but I do find it quite odd that she hadn’t seen Bob in 59 years and then agrees to marry him after only being reunited for six days. If he hadn’t been wealthy she would have never married him so quickly.

The son-in-law happened to be at the home, making repairs, and happens to have a convenient receipt…and whatever happened to such an old man, who the killer probably wouldn’t even care if the body was found…that trust was fund was in danger of being usurped by a wife who probably didn’t even know it existed; after watching the show, and listening to the daughters speak as they did about Bob’s wife and situation…ya’ll know where I’m going with this. Just can’t prove it. That’s all they wanted, just can’t prove anything. Had Bob been killed, there could have been forensic evidence that led to…..

ive just watched this episode on bob and i was astounded by his daughters and the way they treated their father about the money they were hoping to inherit when their dad dies, they accuse everybody else of being after their fathers money, when it seems they are the only ones giving their dad a hard time over money, my father has recently passed and i couldn’t give a dam about an inheritance or what my father spent his money on when he was alive, its his money, nobody, family has a right to interfere in his affairs, i feel very sorry for bob i would love him to found alive and well but it seems as time goes on this is never going to happen
