1 year after Glendale girl’s disappearance, mother, police to discuss updates in case | azcentral

The mother of Alicia Navarro will join Glendale police to talk about updates in the case of her missing autistic daughter on Tuesday, the one-year anniversary of the teen’s disappearance.

“This year, on the 20th, she will turn 16 years old, and we are hoping someone out there will give her family the gift of her safe return,” Glendale police spokesperson Jose Miguel Santiago said, in a statement ahead of the event.
