ME – Falmouth PD: Skeletal remains found near I-295 may be woman missing since 2019 | WGME

FALMOUTH (WGME) — Authorities say skeletal remains found near the I-295 overpass in Falmouth may be a woman who went missing in November 2019.

Anneliese Heinig was last seen walking away from her car parked on the shoulder of I-295 northbound on the north side of the Presumscot River Bridge. Police said at the time that her cell phone, keys and wallet were found inside the car.
