GAFFNEY, S.C. — The remains of a woman missing since June of 2018 have been found in a wooded area in Gaffney according to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.

Falon Michelle Cooksey, a mother of two, went missing on June 11, 2018, according to her cousin Jamie Cooksey.

PATERSON — Nyrah Barner Curry returned home on Tuesday night after her family said she was missing since Feb. 11, when she went to a party at a hotel in Brooklyn, according to her father.

In an interview Wednesday morning, Curry’s father said he was not sure where his daughter had been during the past two weeks, or whether she came home on her own or was found and brought home by police.

A man accused of kidnapping a 14-year-old North Carolina girl he was chatting with online died Sunday, a day after trading gunfire with police.

William Robert Ice, 38, was sought in the disappearance of Savannah Grace Childress, who went missing from her Davidson County home on Feb. 11. After Savannah disappeared, police determined that she had been her Davidson County Schools-issued computer to talk to Ice online across multiple platforms, according to the Davidson County Police Department.

Human remains found in Lee County, North Carolina last Friday have been identified as Cory Dale Moore, a 32-year-old father who has been missing since September, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

The remains were found around 1 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021 in a heavily wooded area near Carbonton and Pickard roads in Sanford, North Carolina, a half-mile from where Cory was last seen.

HIGH DESERT, Calif. – A Walnut Creek mother who has been missing since she headed out on a Joshua Tree road trip this summer has been found dead, according to her brother.

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) – The Spartanburg County coroner said a man whose body was found in a pond of Lake Forest Drive on Wednesday has been identified as a man who had been missing since early January.

Coroner Rusty Clevenger said the deceased was 25-year-old Tevin Thompson. Thompson and his orange Ford Focus were pulled from the water Wednesday afternoon.
