Mission

People disappear for various reasons, both voluntarily and involuntarily.  At year-end 2020, the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) contained ~90,000 active missing person cases.  About 34% of these cases were related to juveniles under 18 years of age.  On average, about 1,500 people are reported missing daily in the United States.

The objective of this site is to provide current, relevant information in the field of missing persons particularly around active cases, research, education and technology.  Our focus is to disseminate information to those who can benefit the most and act upon as necessary.

Timely information will be provided regarding both new and recently solved cases.  The site will further act as a platform for lesser known cases not necessarily receiving the media attention they warrant.  Daily updates will be provided primarily in the form of blog entries and social media posts.

I welcome you on this journey and encourage your participation and support. Thank you.
