PALM DESERT, Calif. – Audrey Moran and Jonathan Reynoso have been missing for over eight months, but the case is far from closed. The Riverside County Sheriff Department’s Central Homicide Unit took over the investigation in June and Sergeant Walt Mendez has been leading their efforts. The I-Team’s John White sat down with Sgt. Mendez to discuss the latest update on the suspicious disappearance.

“The Sheriff’s Department is currently working this case, it’s still an open case,” Mendez said, “We’d like to remind everyone that it’s an active investigation and we are proceeding forward with it…We’re still pursuing leads, and we’re still seeking the public’s assistance in helping us with that.

Bodies found in rural Pa. woods may be linked to ‘suspicious’ disappearance of missing men | msn.com

Two people were found dead by hunters in what’s being considered a homicide case with a possible connection to two known missing persons, state police in Somerset County, Pa. said Monday.

A forensic anthropology team from Mercyhurst University is trying to help identify the bodies, both of which were found in a wooded area near Ligonier Pike in Conemaugh Township on Friday, police said.

“When we were finding photos to use of him, everyone just sent me ones of him smiling,” Mayra told Dateline. “It took a long time to find a serious one of him that wasn’t his driver’s license. He’s just a happy guy. That’s why I’m so concerned. Because nothing seemed wrong.”

Vigil for missing couple takes place Thursday in Coachella – KESQ

COACHELLA, Calif. – A vigil is planned Thursday night for the missing Coachella Valley couple who hasn’t been heard from since Wednesday, May 10.

Audrey Moran, 26, and her boyfriend, 29-year-old Jonathan Reynoso, AKA Jon Darling, are believed to be together, however there is no evidence that shows the two actually met up when Audrey left a family member’s home to apparently pick up her boyfriend the day they went missing, according to police.

The Webster City Police Department said it received a missing person report for 59-year-old Sue Hollingshead Sunday. Police said Hollingshead was last seen April 4, but family members reported receiving a letter from her postmarked April 6.
