SAN ANTONIO – The husband of a missing San Antonio, Texas woman now faces a charge of murder, arrested Saturday afternoon after authorities confirmed they’d found the remains of his wife, Andreen McDonald.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office arrested Andre McDonald, 40, just two days after authorities found a human skull and bones Thursday night.

SAN ANTONIO — Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said “it’s quite possible” that human remains found Thursday evening in north Bexar County belong to a San Antonio mother missing for months, but he stressed that there’s a long process that must be done to definitively identify them.

“What we have is several scattered human bones that are pretty sun-bleached,” Salazar said Thursday evening of the remains found on a Specht Road property. “We’re hopeful that this is who we are hoping it is.”

Andreen Nicole McDonald, 29, did not make it to work Friday and was not seen at her home near Canyon Golf and Wilderness Oak in far North Bexar County. Authorities have limited info on McDonald’s disappearance.
