ASTORIA, OR (KPTV) – A 29-year-old woman was reported missing Tuesday and now Astoria police are asking for the public’s help in finding her.

Police said the mother of Maya Sanders called at 4 p.m. to report that her daughter was missing.

Union for missing Queens flight attendant offers $10G reward – NY Daily News

The union representing a 30-year-old flight attendant who disappeared in Queens more than three weeks ago is offering $10,000 for information about her whereabouts.

Members of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters’ Airline Division are hoping Sierra Shields returns to her friends and family safely.

“The Teamsters are deeply concerned about the recent developments surrounding Ms. Shields,” Jim Hoffa, the Teamsters general president, said in a statement. “It is imperative that we find her.”

It’s a puzzling case; a flight attendant showing up for work at New York’s LaGuardia airport on the morning of January 14, 2016 in her blue uniform. But instead of hopping on a flight, she handed in her equipment and quit. She then walked out on foot. That was the last time anyone saw Sierra Shields.

“Right now, it’s difficult to see what happened when she left the terminal,” Chris Shields, Sierra’s father, told Dateline. “It’s a real mystery at this point, but we can’t give up.”
