COVINGTON, Ga. — Police and family members are searching for a woman who hasn’t been seen since she called relatives from a borrowed cellphone at a gas station.

Janet D. Bell-Thompson, 25, of Social Circle, went to a court hearing at the Newton County Judicial Building on May 24, but she had the wrong date.

ATLANTA – The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is asking for help finding a missing teenager.

Destiny Tillis-Shelton, 17, was last seen at her home in Fort Worth, Texas, on Feb. 15.

Investigators said she has since been seen in Atlanta.

GA – Body found on Yellow River confirmed as missing woman from Hartsfield-Jackson | 11alive

NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. — Family has confirmed that a body found floating along the Yellow River in early March has been identified as a woman who went missing from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport over a month before.

A family member said Atlanta Police Department contacted them to confirm that 23-year-old Shanequa Quanee Sullivan was the person found by a fisherman along the river, Saturday.

Reward increased to $15K to find missing CDC researcher | AJC.com

The reward to find a missing Centers for Disease Control and Prevention researcher has increased to $15,000, Atlanta police said Tuesday.

Timothy Cunningham, an epidemiologist, worked for the chronic disease department of the CDC. He was last seen the morning of Feb. 12, when he left work and told co-workers he was feeling ill.
