Johnny Adams was last seen on June 15, 2017 at his residence in Bennettsville and has not been seen or heard from since. According to Detective Tim Hood, he could possibly be driving his green 1996 GMC Sierra extended cab bearing SC tag 123409W.

Body Found in South Carolina Amid Search for a Missing Girl | US News

BENNETTSVILLE, S.C. (AP) — A sheriff says a body has been found in a remote area of South Carolina amid the search for a missing 8-year-old girl whose mother was slain.

Authorities say they haven’t yet identified the body recovered Sunday morning near McColl. Marlboro County Sheriff Charles Lemon says in a statement that an autopsy is planned Monday.

BENNETTSVILLE, S.C. — A Bennettsville woman is dead, her eight-year-old daughter is missing and possibly endangered and investigators from the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office, South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are working to find the girl and solve the killing.

Marlboro County Coroner Tim Brown Saturday said his office had ruled the death of 36-year-old Ella Shantrica Lowery a homicide following an autopsy but was not releasing any additional information on the death at the request of investigators.

BENNETTSVILLE (WBTW) – Marlboro County Sheriff Fred Knight said deputies are asking for help to find a missing man.

Deputies said the last time anyone saw 71-year-old Alvin Shannon was Thursday, October 1, in the Walmart parking lot. He left the parking lot in a 2009 dark grey Honda Accord with a SC veterans tag V27-243, and was last seen turning on S.C. Highway 9 toward Bennettsville.

DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help locating a missing 85-year-old Society Hill man who was last seen at about 11 a.m. Thursday.

Leroy Benjamin was last seen on Church Street driving a white 1993 Chrysler New Yorker with the S.C. license plate DBU 709, heading towards Bennettsville, according to a DCSO news release.
