Barney O’Neal MaHaffey Jr., 48 of Birmingham was last seen at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 19.

Search underway for Birmingham man missing for nearly a month | AL.com

Birmingham police are searching for a man who hasn’t had contact with family for nearly a month.

Roosevelt Lassiter, 30, hasn’t been in touch with family members since Dec. 6, 2018, police said. Officers checked his home and found the door ajar, but his belongings and vehicle were there, police said.

Vannessa Thomas Powell has had no communication with her family since Dec. 6. Birmingham police Sgt. Johnny Williams said Powell also has not reported to work since then.

Missing Birmingham sisters may be traveling to California, police say | AL.com

Birmingham police are searching for two sisters who may be trying to travel to California.

The girls, 17-year-old Mirna Lorena Coyoy-Perez and 10-year-old Kimberly Elizabeth Coyoy-Perez, were last seen around 8 a.m. Friday, said Sgt. Johnny Williams. Both girls are Hispanic females.

AL – Police search for missing woman, her house left in disarray | CBS42

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT)– Birmingham Police are searching for a missing woman who was last seen in the northern area of Birmingham.

Davida Palmer, 28, was last seen on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018. Police found Palmer’s car in her driveway in the 5200 block of Court P Ensley with the door open and keys inside. In addition, the door to her home was also open and the house was in disarray, according to Sgt. Johnny Williams.

29-year-old missing from Five Points South since Sunday | AL.com

Authorities are searching for a Birmingham man who has been missing since early Sunday morning.

Justin Kyle Lett, 29, was last seen about 2:50 a.m. Sunday outside of Marty’s PM. The restaurant is located at 1813 10th Ct S in Five Points South. He had his cell phone and wallet with him, but multiple calls placed to his cell phone since then are directed straight to voicemail.

Decomposed body found in car trunk identified as man missing for weeks; homicide probe underway | AL.com

The decomposed body found in the trunk of an abandoned vehicle four days ago has now been positively identified as a man who has been missing for several weeks.

Birmingham police on Tuesday identified the victim as 47-year-old Michael Steven Matthew. His death has been ruled a homicide.
