Age-progressed photo of missing Idaho toddler released | KSL.com

IDAHO FALLS — The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has released an age-progressed photo of missing Idaho Falls toddler DeOrr Kunz Jr.

The photo shows what DeOrr could look like at his current age of 4.

DeOrr was 2-years-old when he vanished while on a camping trip with his parents, great-grandfather and a friend of his grandfather on July 10, 2015. There has been no sign of the toddler since that day, and nobody has been charged in connection to his disappearance.

MONTPELIER, Idaho – A Montpelier-based private detective working with the family of a missing two-year-old is offering a $10,000 reward for information on his whereabouts.

Thursday marked two months since DeOrr Kunz, Jr. vanished from a campsite near Leadore.

Investigator Frank Vilt said he’s convinced Kunz is still alive based on a search of the campsite.

“No remains, no clothing. Nothing up there. The cadaver dogs couldn’t find anything. The search dogs couldn’t find anything,” said Vilt.

The FBI has been asked to help in the disappearance of a two-year-old boy who vanished without a trace earlier this month during a family camping trip in the central Idaho mountains, the local sheriff said on Friday.

DeOrr Kunz was reported missing by his parents on July 10 after they returned from a hike to learn that their son was not with a relative who had remained at the campsite, Lemhi County Sheriff Lynn Bowerman said.
