The detective probing the disappearance of a Woodland Hills man whose car was found abandoned outside a Valencia restaurant reported Friday that she has few clues to suggest what happened.

Christopher “Critter” Clark, 39, went missing July 24.

On that day, he had contact with his family in Reseda and, soon after that, he vanished.

Remains found in Teller County identified as missing hiker | FOX 21 News

TELLER COUNTY, Colo. – Remains found in Teller County last week have been identified as those of a hiker who went missing in September, according to the Teller County Sheriff’s Office.

A body found earlier this week in the American River canyon was Ying Wong, the 33-year-old Sacramento woman who went missing Sunday morning, according the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.

Wong’s body had been damaged by a mountain lion, the sheriff’s office said in a release Friday, though the animal appeared to have discovered her after she was already deceased.

CA – Search in Auburn area for missing woman | Auburn Journal

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is asking for public help as a search is into a second day for Yin Wong, whose abandoned car was found in the Bowman area near Auburn Sunday morning.

Wong, a 33-year-old female from Sacramento, is reported to be 5-feet tall, and weighing 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue-striped top and an unknown color skirt. She has a stocky build, medium complexion, and a protruding belly.

Search for missing San Diego woman turns up remains near Joshua Tree National Park | Los Angeles Times

A search for the body of a San Diego woman who is thought to have been killed and buried in the desert turned up human remains Friday in the “Cactus City” area south of Joshua Tree National Park, authorities said.

The remains, suspected to be that of Julia Jacobson and her dog, Boogie, were found in a shallow grave near the 10 Freeway and Box Canyon Road, the Ontario Police Department said.
