CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) – 35-year-old Vinton native Joshua Wellman was last seen after he was dropped off at the Cedar Rapids Area Substance Abuse Center November 12.

His family hasn’t seen or heard from him since.

“There’s definitely something wrong,” Wellman’s step-father Dan Walton said. “He wouldn’t go a day without talking to his sister or his mother or something. That’s just not his nature.”

IA – NEW DETAILS: Body identified as missing teen Moe Sed | WCFCourier

GILBERTVILLE | Family members of a missing Waterloo teen now know his fate.

But questions remain in the death of 18-year-old Moe Sed, who disappeared in October and was found dead in the Cedar River over the weekend.

On Thursday, Waterloo police confirmed that the remains discovered half a mile upstream from Gilbertville on Sunday were those of the West High School junior. Officials identified the body through dental records.

The Cedar Rapids Police Department is asking for help in the search for a person that went missing after a CRST training session.

Police say 41-year-old William Standerfer was last seen after a Feb. 20 session in the 3900 block of 16th Ave. SW. He is described as a white male.
