Body Found In Bay Last Week Identified As Missing Daly City Woman | SFGATE

The body of a woman found in the San Francisco Bay last week has been identified as that of 37-year-old Daly City resident Christa Mahoney, who went missing last month, according to the San Francisco medical examiner’s office.

Mahoney was last seen on Jan. 26, after having eaten lunch with her dog Buddy at downtown San Francisco restaurant John’s Grill.

Daly City police are looking for a 37-year-old woman who was reported missing Sunday night, police said.

Christa Jade Mahoney, a Daly City resident, was last seen by her neighbor at 7 a.m. Friday. The following day, a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus driver gave police Mahoney’s wallet and phone that had been found on the bus. Mahoney’s dog was later seen walking on Grant Avenue and Geary Street, according to police.

Elderly Man With Dementia Missing Since Thursday | SFGATE

Daly City police are still looking today for an 82-year-old man with dementia, and thus considered at-risk, missing since Thursday afternoon.

Police said today that Senen Merritt was last seen at about 5 p.m. Thursday riding a SamTrans bus headed north on Mission Street from John Daly Boulevard. Merritt has not been heard from since then.

58 year old Randy Lee walked away from a group home on Sweetwood Drive in Daly City, yesterday (Saturday), May 23, 2015 at 1:30 p.m.

Lee is on medication, took them yesterday, but does not have them now.

He has never walked away before, and he does not have any family or friends in the area.

DALY CITY — Police are asking the public’s help finding a woman who went shopping last week and never returned.

Rowena Gracia, also known as Rowena Velonza, was last seen April 14 leaving her home in the St. Francis area of Daly City to go shopping, according to Daly City police. She never returned.

Police said Gracia suffers from short-term memory loss and is blind in her right eye. She is under a conservatorship due to a traumatic head injury, police added.
