The Clay County Sheriff’s Office recovered an as-yet unidentified body that had been hidden inside the Keystone Heights home of Jordan Cooper – the subject of an multiagency law enforcement search for the past two weeks,

Sheriff Darryl Daniels said Saturday night detectives haven’t been able to identify the remains because of the position of the body.

A body found earlier this week in the American River canyon was Ying Wong, the 33-year-old Sacramento woman who went missing Sunday morning, according the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.

Wong’s body had been damaged by a mountain lion, the sheriff’s office said in a release Friday, though the animal appeared to have discovered her after she was already deceased.

LINCOLN, Neb. — Authorities say a body believed to be that of a missing 24-year-old Lincoln woman has been found in southeast Nebraska’s Clay County. The FBI’s Randy Thysse said at a Lincoln news conference Tuesday that investigators strongly believe the female body is that of Sydney Loofe, who was reported missing Nov. 16.

Thysse says an official identification is pending an autopsy.

SHELBYVILLE, Ind.– Authorities in Shelby County identified a body found in the Big Blue River as a Shelbyville man who was reported missing nearly a month ago.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department confirms the body of 38-year-old Christopher Young was found on the Big Blue River Sunday afternoon. The man’s father, Rusty Young, tells FOX59 that he and his older son found him while kayaking.

Investigators have recovered a body in a creek believed to be 3-year-old Mariah Woods, officials said Saturday.

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – The live-in boyfriend of a Jacksonville woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the disappearance of her daughter, Mariah Woods, the FBI announced early Saturday.

Deputies took Earl Kimrey, 32, into custody Friday night, as the search continued for the woman’s 3-year-old daughter. Kimrey is the boyfriend of Kristy Woods, the mother of Mariah.
