Elk Grove police seek the public’s help in finding a missing woman who is considered at risk because she suffers from a bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

Anisha McCarthy, 35, was last seen by family members at 3:30 a.m. Thursday when she left their residence in the 8700 block of Maranello Drive. Police said McCarthy does not have her medication with her and family members have indicated that she may be suicidal.

ELK GROVE (CBS13) – Elk Grove police are asking for help in locating a missing man who is considered at-risk.

Michael Pete, 57, suffers from schizophrenia and dementia. According to an Elk Grove Police Department statement, he was reported missing on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. from the 9300 block of Quintanna Court. He was last spotted on Monday at 3 p.m. in the 7400 block of Laguna Boulevard.

Amador County sheriff’s officials are asking the public’s help finding a 79-year-old Pioneer man who was last seen Monday night at a gas station in Placer County.

Warren Alford Hagyard’s wife contacted the Amador County Sheriff’s Office about 10:30 p.m. Monday to report that her husband was missing. She told deputies that family members had last seen him leaving his son’s residence in Elk Grove about 3 p.m. that day.

The body of a man who had been missing since Valentine’s Day has been found, the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office reported Sunday.

The body of Troy Schmeltz, 73, was recovered at approximately 12:25 p.m. Sunday from the Gila River by YCSO. Officials said his family has been notified.
