It’s been three years since Woonsocket native Rachel Cyriacks disappeared. Still, Sanborn County law enforcement officials say they won’t stop searching for her.

Cyriacks was last seen on Nov. 13, 2013 in Woonsocket. Sanborn County officials suspect foul play in the case, and at this point, they’re questioning whether she’ll ever be found alive.

SD – Officials Continue Search For Woman Missing Nearly 3 Years | keloland.com

Officials recently searched a small area of land near an irrigation ditch in Beadle County for a Woonsocket woman who disappeared under suspicious circumstances nearly three years ago.

Sanborn County Sheriff Tom Fridley said authorities are continuing to chase leads in the case of Rachel Cyriacks, and the Wednesday effort was another case of that.

Leg pulled from river belongs to missing Lansing, MI man

LANSING — The piece of a human leg discovered in the Grand River by a fisherman on Friday belonged to Manuel Peña, a Lansing man missing since late April, the Ingham County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed today.

“While it is presumed that Mr. Peña is deceased, at this time the medical examiner lacks sufficient evidence to determine this with certainty,” Lansing police Public Information Officer Robert Merritt said in a statement.

OAKLAND — The McCallum family went on vacation to the outer banks of North Carolina in July, but it was bittersweet. The vacation had been planned by their 30-year-old daughter Meg, who has been missing since March 11.

More than four months after she went missing, the McCallum family says they haven’t given up hope of her return, and they’re asking for help in finding her.

AL – Remains found during search for missing man

Authorities found human remains in the north end of Escambia County while performing a search operation today, a Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said.

The remains were found in the Century area, off Pine Barren Road. The identity and cause of death of the deceased is unknown at this time.

Family of missing Lansing, MI man remains hopeful

LANSING — Manuel Peña has been missing without a trace for nearly a month.

Police have exhausted most resources to find the 56-year-old Lansing man. He was last seen April 25 with Josephina Betancourt, his girlfriend who was found dead in the Grand River earlier this month.

But Peña’s family remains hopeful that he is alive.

FLOMATON, Al. — A man, originally from Memphis, is the center of a search in Alabama and Florida.

John Douglas Oswalt was last seen May 3 in Flomaton, Alabama.

Two days later, a car belonging to Oswalt was found in McDavid, Florida which is about 12 miles away.
