LINCOLNTON, NC (WBTV) – Investigators have identified a body found in a wooded area in Lincoln County Wednesday as a woman reported missing in 2015.

Patricia Linn Loveless was reported missing by a friend in March 2015. Police said she was known to “routinely walked down East Main Street and North General’s Blvd frequenting businesses in these areas.”

FRUITLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say a body found buried in Muskegon County may be that of Bobbie Maples, a woman who has been missing since late 2014.

A tip lead police to the location where the body was buried, Roosevelt Park Police Chief David Boone told 24 Hour News 8. The body was found around 7:30 p.m. Thursday on private property in Fruitland Township. He said investigators are not sure if the property owner had any involvement in the burial of the body.

Six months have passed since 1-year-old Leonna Wright vanished. A frustrated investigator said the case “is dead in the water.”

Dozens of deputies, firefighters, search-and-rescue team members, and volunteers spent three days in an intensive yet fruitless search for Leonna after she was reported missing June 6 from the Edgewood Square apartment complex in Pendleton. Early on, up to eight Anderson County sheriff’s investigators also were assigned to the case.

It’s been nearly two months since a Pendleton toddler disappeared from her home and Leaona Wright’s family is still searching for answers.

Wednesday night at 6:30, they are hitting the streets to hand out more fliers, pleading with the public to come forward with any information that may help.

“We want Leaona. Just please bring her home.” Almost two months later and Leaona Wright’s face and the tale of her disappearance is still being passed around Anderson.
