Muncie, IN police still following leads on missing woman Brianna DiBattiste

MUNCIE – Police investigators looking for Brianna DiBattiste thought they had a good lead: A man had reported seeing her, even talking to her, at a house in Dayton, Ohio, since the 25-year-old Dunkirk woman was last seen by family on June 16.

It was a plausible sighting, Albany Police Chief Shannon Henry said. After all, DiBattiste is distinctive-looking, with notable tattoos that, along with her face, have been seen on fliers posted at convenience stores, truck stops and laundromats all over this part of the Midwest.

One day in the middle of July, Henry, his deputy chief and an Indiana State Police investigator met with officers from Dunkirk, Dayton and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation at the house in Dayton.
