Woman who recently moved to GA goes missing | 11ALIVE

HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. — A ‘Be On the Lookout’ alert has been issued for a missing 26-year old woman from Habersham County.

The Sheriff’s Office released a photo of Megan Elizabeth Myers and said on Friday, deputies responded to a home in Cornelia and were told Myers left the house two nights before and had not been seen since.

Search underway for missing teen who went for run near Chattahoochee | AJC

Authorities are combing a Forsyth County park for a 19-year-old man missing since he went for a run Monday night.

Byron Grogan left for a run at Chattahoochee Pointe Park around 9 p.m, his family told Forsyth County deputies. He was last seen wearing a yellow T-shirt, red shorts and running shoes.

Columbia County believes it has found body of missing Grovetown woman | The Augusta Chronicle

A woman’s body found in a dumpster Tuesday could be that of a 39-year-old reported missing since July 25.

An autopsy will help confirm whether authorities have found Andrya Pauline DeGhelder, Columbia County Sheriff’s Maj. Sharif Chochol said at a news conference Wednesday morning.

Formerly a missing-persons case, it now is being treated as a homicide investigation, Chochol said.

GA – Columbus police searching for missing man and woman | WTVM

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The Columbus Police Department is asking the public for assistance locating a missing man and woman.

Jennifer Self, 35, and Joseph Beason, 39, were last seen Saturday, July 7 on Harbin Street.

Self is also known as Jennifer Carr. She was last seen carrying a purple bookbag. Her clothing description is unknown.
