Police dig up backyard of missing Hurst woman, but fail to find any trace of her | Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Despite digging for hours in a backyard, Hurst police failed on Tuesday to find the body of a missing woman who was last seen in May 2015.

A team of 10 Hurst police officers and officials with the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office were at the home of 72-year-old Norma Shultz, digging for more than five hours on Tuesday.

It’s been almost five days since Avery last talked to her.

Makinzy Sparks went missing early Thursday from her Hurst home near Campus Drive and Harwood Street. Avery last talked to her daughter late Wednesday.

HURST A 72-year-old Hurst woman who has been missing for more than a month packed clothes and personal items in a suitcase about the same time she left home, her husband’s attorney said Tuesday.

Police have been investigating the disappearance of Norma Shultz since her husband, 73, reported her missing on May 25.

He told police she walked away from home on May 24, Hurst police Sgt. Craig Teague said.

HURST – A Fort Worth daughter is desperate to find her missing mother.

“The last time I saw my mom was on Mother’s Day,” Maritza Fuller said.

It was a day she wishes she could rewind to, rather than fearing what the future holds.

“[Fearing] that she’s not with us on Earth,” Fuller said.

Hurst Police Looking For Missing Woman Leilani Collett « CBS Dallas / Fort Worth

HURST (CBSDFW.COM) – Police in Hurst are looking for a 76-year-old woman who has been missing since Sunday afternoon. Officials said that Leilani Collett has been diagnosed with a cognitive impairment. If she is not found soon, she could pose a threat to her own safety.

Collett has been described as a white female, 5 feet 4 inches tall and 180 pounds. She has brown hair, hazel eyes and typically wears glasses.
