JACKSONVILLE, FLA. (AP) — The remains of a Florida teen who had been missing for one year have been found.

Jacksonville Sheriff’s officials say the skeletal remains of 18-year-old Corbin Johnson were wrapped in some type of plastic bag or tarp and discovered when a man clearing land dug them up with his tractor.

Sources: Missing 16-year-old died the day she disappeared | News4JAX

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Family members of a missing 16-year-old Jacksonville girl were told Monday night that she died on the December day that she never made it home from high school, sources told News4Jax.

Iyana Sawyer, described as a straight-A student, was last seen on surveillance video leaving Terry Parker High School on Dec. 19. She was five months pregnant at the time.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The State Attorney’s Office now considers a Jacksonville man a suspect in both the pregnancy and disappearance of his teenage niece who’s been missing for six weeks.

Prosecutors disclosed those suspicions Friday morning during a bond hearing for Johnathan Joyco Quiles, who’s currently in custody at the Duval County jail on a felony sexual battery charge.

Police arrest supposed relative of missing pregnant teen | News4JAX

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Authorities arrested the uncle of a pregnant Jacksonville teenager who’s been missing for almost a month, News4Jax learned Wednesday.​

Records show Johnathan Joyco Quiles, 33, was booked Tuesday night into the Duval County jail on a charge of sexual battery. Circumstances surrounding the charge were not immediately clear, but it was not linked to the teen’s disappearance, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
