SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Police have confirmed that a body found in the Chattahoochee River belongs to a missing Sandy Springs man.

James “Gary” Morris disappeared Dec. 3 from his Princeton Trace home. Investigators said the 72-year-old man suffered from depression and took medication for congenital heart failure. His car was found parked at Don White Memorial Park in Roswell.

A Mattie’s Call has been issued for a 71-year-old Sandy Springs man with a history of depression and other medical needs.

James “Gary” Morris was last seen Tuesday night at his home. His vehicle was located at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday in Roswell, said Officer Lisa Holland with the Roswell Police Department.
