AL – Search to mark 6 months for missing woman | WTVM13

The family of Tuscaloosa native Janet Hamner plan to make a search for her whereabouts, 6 months after she went missing. Hamner, 59, was last seen last August 12th at Moe’s truck stop on Highway 82. According to the family, they will meet at Mac’s truck stop on Tuesday February 12th, Hamner’s birthday, at 1:00pm. Volunteers are welcome to help in the search. A candlelight prayer meeting will be held at 5:30pm that evening.

Still no trace of woman missing for 2 months | Tuscaloosanews.com

Two months have passed since Janet Hamner seemingly disappeared without a trace, and it’s taking a toll on her family members.

Hamner, 59, was last seen around the morning of Aug. 11 at Moe’s Travel Plaza on U.S. Highway 82 West at the Pickens County line. Family, volunteers and law enforcement have conducted extensive searches in the area and still have no idea where she could be.

Janet Denise Hamner was last seen around 3:30 A.M. on August 11, 2018, at Moe’s Travel Plaza on Highway 82W at the Pickens Co. line.
