Search for missing Nipomo man to take place across SLO County |

Searchers will head out Thursday across San Luis Obispo County to look for a Nipomo man who hasn’t been heard or seen from since the beginning of the week.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office says Saul Tiznado, Jr. was entered into the Missing and Unidentified Persons Unit of the California Department of Justice after receiving the missing person’s report Tuesday afternoon. The sheriff’s detective unit is assigned to the case.

AL – Missing man’s family requests help | St. Clair News AEGIS

A local man stopped to buy fuel at The Store Shell gas station on Hwy 231 in Pell City at 8:45 p.m. on May 25 and has not been seen or heard from since.

Dennis O’Keith Armstrong, Jr., 27, of Pell City, was last seen wearing a green t-shirt and blue jeans. He is 6’2” with brown eyes and brown hair. His truck was found abandoned on Hwy 25 in Leeds May 26 and was impounded. The keys were still in the vehicle and it was out of gas.

LA – Man missing after leaving aunt’s Algiers home, police say | 4WWL

NEW ORLEANS — Police are looking for a man who was last seen leaving his aunt’s home Wednesday in Algiers.

Police said 22-year-old Peter Oatis, Jr. told his aunt after leaving her home he was going to pick up dinner before going back to his apartment. His aunt told police she tried to contact him several times the next day, but could not reach him.

Remains found off LSU campus believed to be missing student from Mandeville |

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said Friday night (Sept. 28) human remains found off Nicholson Drive south of the LSU campus are believed to me that of missing student Michael Nickelotte Jr., 21, of Mandeville, according to a press conference live-streamed online by WAFB-TV.

The parents of an LSU student who’s been missing for almost two weeks held a news conference Friday asking the public for its help in finding the couple’s son.

Michael Nickelotte Jr., 21, was reported missing after he was last seen Sept. 18 at East Campus Apartments and is believed to have left on his own, police have said.

Father of missing LSU student provides update, says football game has hindered search – WAFB 9

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) – The father of an LSU student who has been missing nearly a week has created a Facebook group to provide updates, in which he also expressed his personal concerns of how the search has been handled so far.

On Saturday, in the public Facebook group, consisting of over 1,100 members as of Sunday morning, Michael Nickelotte Sr., father of missing LSU student Michael Nickelotte, Jr., gave details of his son’s disappearance and police response, which he said he believes has been hindered by LSU football.
