MISSING: Police searching for 8-year-old Kokomo child reportedly kidnapped by mother | The Indy Channel

KOKOMO, Ind. – Kokomo police are seeking help in locating a child who was involved in a kidnapping incident Thursday.

Capt. Tonda Cockrell with the Kokomo Police Department said a father told officers his 8-year-old daughter Ja’layia Williams had been taken from an IHOP restaurant at 50 West 300 South by her biological mother, 29-year-old Sherica Wizzard.

KOKOMO, Ind. (July 14, 2015) –Arkansas police issued a Silver Alert for a missing 75-year-old woman last seen in Kokomo.

Tammy Warden of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas contacted the Kokomo Police Department July 13 at 4:13 a.m. to report her mother as a missing person.

Missing person national tour to make stop in Kokomo, IN – Kokomo Tribune: News

Keeping missing person cases and unsolved homicides fresh in the minds of people is key to solving cold cases.

That’s the intention of the 2014 Cue Center for Missing Persons National Road Tour, which will make a stop in Kokomo Thursday.

This year’s On the Road to Remember Tour, which features 100 cases including three unidentified persons, five unsolved homicides and 92 missing person cases, will be at the Waffle House parking lot, located at 807 S. Reed Road, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

The tour began in Wilmington, North Carolina, Friday and ends Oct. 18 in Wilmington after completing 4,011 miles in eight days.

Kokomo is one of 22 pre-planned rally stops to bring awareness to missing person cases, unidentified people and unsolved homicides.
