Husband arrested for murder of wife, missing from Wisconsin since March 2017 | NBC NEWS

Authorities have arrested Jason Sypher for the murder of his wife Krista Marie Sypher, missing from Plover, Wisconsin since March of 2017.

According to a release by the Plover Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol arrested Sypher, 44, around 5:30 p.m. on August 24, 2018. He was arrested approximately five miles north of the Illinois/Wisconsin border on I-39/I-90 following a traffic stop. Sypher had moved to Chicago, Illinois shortly after his wife’s disappearance.

PLOVER – A 44-year-old Plover woman has been missing for three weeks and police still haven’t been able to determine if she is alive or dead.

“We don’t know,” Plover Police Chief Dan Ault said in an interview Monday with USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin. “We certainly have our working theories and our suspicions, but at the same time, I’m not willing to accuse anybody at this point.”

The Plover Police Department is looking for a missing woman.

Krista Sypher, 44 of Plover, disappeared from her home sometime last week, police said. Investigators say some clothes and a large amount of cash is missing from her home, she did not take a vehicle and her cell has been turned off since March 13.
