A teen reported missing from Illinois is believed to be headed to the border, Laredo police said Saturday.

She was identified as 15-year-old Kimberly Segura. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and has braces. She also has a birthmark on her forehead. She has short, light brown hair with blonde tips.

A 15-year-old Colorado girl reported missing last week was found Friday in Laredo, officials said.

Laredo police located Angel Lucero and are now investigating, according to the Teller County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado. At this time, it is unknown if a suspect is in custody.

LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) – Young or old, people are reported missing all the time. Even now, the search for an elderly Laredo man, with Alzheimer’s disease, continues. Here in Laredo, missing persons cases are reported to the sheriff’s or police department. Although both work in a similar way, there are some differences in when a person is considered missing.

It can happen in a split second, and it does. Thousands of people, of all ages, are reported missing, every year. Webb County Sheriff’s Department Commander Juan Rendon, explains what happens when they get a call. Cmdr. Rendon says, “A family comes in, or calls us, and tells us that somebody is missing. Automatically, the person is considered missing.”

Boyd’s co-workers reported him missing December 29, two days after he was supposed to show up for work.
