Police seek help finding missing Longmont man last known to be in New Mexico – Longmont Times-Call

Longmont police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing adult who requires medication and who was last known to be in New Mexico for unknown reasons.

Police today said Richard Steven Rue, who goes by “Rick,” has been missing from Longmont since Friday. His last known location was a Good-To-Go store in Williamsburg, N.M., which is off Interstate 25 in southern New Mexico.

According to police, Aravind Elangovan, 19, went missing after he walked away from his home in the 1400 block of Harvard Street on March 31. He suffers from various mental conditions.

LONGMONT, Colo. – The body of a Longmont woman missing since Saturday was identified Tuesday after being found in a field.

The body of 31-year-old Jessica Lynn Shackelford was found in an alfalfa field by a land owner in the 13200 block of North 87th Street.

There was no obvious cause of death, according to investigators. An autopsy found no obvious cause of death and additional tests are being conducted.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the disappearance of a 31-year-old Longmont woman who was last seen Saturday night.

Jessica Lynn Shackleford left her home in the 12900 block of Hillcrest Drive about 8 p.m., on foot, after a fight with her husband, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
