Local police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 23-year-old Hope man who has been missing since Friday.

Avery Smith was reported missing around 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, by his family, who said they had not seen or heard from Smith in at least a day, according to a news release from the Knox County Sheriff’s Department.
