STANDISH, MI — It’s been more than a month since a 15-year-old girl seemingly slipped out of her bedroom window and vanished into the night.

Kaitlyn Leonard, a student at Standish-Sterling High School, left her home the night of Sunday, May 20. She took a packed backpack with her, but left her cellphone behind.

Missing woman originally from Clio found dead in Rochester Hills | WNEM

ROYAL OAK, MI (WNEM) – A missing woman who was originally from the Mid-Michigan area has been found dead.

Lt. Spencer with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said investigators found 32-year-old Holly Towery’s remains not far from her 2003 Dodge Durango near Dutton and Livernois in Rochester Hills. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are searching for a Southfield woman who went missing May 25.

Kyla Shay Bell, 43, was last seen with a friend at Theresa’s Place Restaurant on West McNichols in Detroit. Bell left the restaurant at 2 a.m. and drove herself to an address near the 18000 block of Westmoreland near Six Mile Road.
