LINCOLN COUNTY, MO — The Missouri Highway Water Patrol and investigators are on the scene of a body found in a submerged vehicle in the Mississippi River. The Florissant Police Department says they were notified Friday afternoon by the Missouri Highway Patrol that a vehicle registered to Barbara Higgins was located along with female remains inside.

Family: Body found in Mississippi River believed to be missing New Hope man | KMSP

(KMSP) – A body found in the Mississippi River Saturday night is believed to be a New Hope man who had been missing since Feb. 28, the family said.

The tugboat operator discovered a body around 7:30 p.m. April 8 on the Washington County side of the river near Grey Cloud Island, according to a release. Adam Clark, 22, was last seen near Minnehaha Falls and Ford Parkway.

Searchers find body of missing man in Mississippi near Winona | lacrossetribune.com

WINONA, Minn. — After more than a week of searching, Winona-area emergency responders Tuesday morning recovered the body of a man missing in Winona since Oct. 7.

MN – Medical examiner confirms body in river was missing student – Watertown Public Opinion

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Hennepin County medical examiner confirms a body recovered from the Mississippi River is that of a missing University of Minnesota student.

Authorities pulled the body of 20-year-old David Michael Miller, of St. Peter, from the river near the Ford Parkway Bridge in St. Paul just before 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
