Missing man, 53, last seen leaving Modesto | The Modesto Bee

A 53-year-old man has been missing since July 25 when he was last seen leaving his friend’s house in Modesto.

A missing persons report was generated for Scott Kerfoot, of Cameron Park, when he failed to return home after leaving his friend’s Modesto home in an Isuzu box truck, according to a press release from the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office.

Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Sheriff’s officials released more information regarding a Modesto man that has been missing for almost three months after leaving a local casino.

Sheriff’s officials note that 35-year-old Allen Christopher Martin’s disappearance is now one of the listed cases in the Crime Stoppers program, which allows members of the community to provide anonymous information on a crime. Security cameras captured Martin leaving the Chicken Ranch Casino in Jamestown the evening of February 9.

Deputies search for missing Modesto man last seen at casino | Modesto News – KCRA

JAMESTOWN, Calif. (KCRA) —Deputies are asking for the community’s help in finding a missing man who disappeared from a Jamestown casino, the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office said.

Allen Christopher Martin, 35, of Modesto was last seen about 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 9 at Chicken Ranch Casino, the sheriff’s office said. He was walking through the casino’s parking lot toward Chicken Ranch Road.

They came with walking sticks, golf clubs, broom handles and old rebar to tromp through the brush and search for clues.

More than two dozen friends and family of 43-year-old Modesto resident Lisa Valdez conducted a search for her along the banks of the Tuolumne River near Dryden Park Golf Course on Saturday morning. The mother of three has been missing since July 22, when she was last seen near the edge of the course walking toward the river.

“She has never been gone this long before. She always called me every couple of days to talk no matter what,” said her mother, Modesto resident Lydia Toledo. “Family and friends know this is totally out of character for her.”

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — Fernando Subia, 46, has not been seen for six months. Detectives say Randy Lay, 55, was likely with him in the days before he vanished.

The Subia family is pleading for help. Detectives are running low on leads, but hoping to track Lay, who is wanted for questioning. This case is still classified as a missing persons case, but it’s being handled by homicide investigators.
