Greensboro police, Guilford County sheriff deputies and the FBI are canvassing a neighborhood where a 3-year-old girl was reportedly abducted Wednesday.

An Amber Alert was issued for Ahlora Ashanti Sample Lindiment, who was last seen in the 2400 block of Phillips Avenue. She is described as a black female with brown eyes, brown hair, about two feet tall and weighing 40 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink T-shirt, black jeans and white sandals.

The disappearance of a Holly Springs woman went from being a missing person case to a death investigation, Holly Springs police said Wednesday.

Police believe Monica Moynan, 23, has been missing since April. They have been investigating the case since late July, when her disappearance was reported, according to a release from Holly Springs police.

The Asheville Police Department is requesting assistance to locate missing person, Sandy Jo Lloyd Austin. Sandy was reported missing on September 18. She was last seen on July 12 in the area of 119 Tunnel Road wearing blue jeans and carrying a black purse.

Sandy is described as a white female, 29 years of age, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 5’3″ and approximately 125 pounds. She has tattoos on her forearms reading “Believe in Love” and “Faith and Hope”.
