PITTSBURG COUNTY, Oklahoma – In the search for Holly Cantrell, her family makes some new discoveries Saturday, March 17. Pittsburg County Sheriff Chris Morris confirms human remains were found near the Cardinal Point area of Lake Eufaula.

We reported earlier this week when two rib bones were found. Now, the medical examiner collected one rib – the other wasn’t found again – along with several other remains, Morris said.

Human remains found near Lake Eufaula could be missing McAlester woman, sheriff says | Tulsa World

There’s a “good chance” that the human remains found near Lake Eufaula this weekend could belong to a woman who disappeared more than a year ago, Pittsburg County Sheriff Chris Morris said Monday.

A rabbit hunter found the bones Sunday evening near Cardinal Point Recreational Area, about 12 miles northeast of McAlester, and alerted the Sheriff’s Office.
