Search for missing Native American woman expands into Lake Sakakawea | INFORUM

NEW TOWN, N.D.—Searchers looking for Olivia Lone Bear have scoured the Fort Berthold Reservation while updated details on her disappearance continue to be uncovered.

Three Affiliated Tribes Police Detective Sam Lincoln said most of the reservation has been searched by aircraft, motor vehicles and people on foot.

ND – Family of missing new town woman speaks out | KFYRTV

NEW TOWN, N.D. – Olivia Lone Bear, a mother of five missing now for two weeks, last spoke with her father, Tex before going missing.

“Tuesday was the last day he spoke with her, visited with her. On Thursday it became a little more concerning because she wasn’t home, nobody’s heard from her, kids haven’t heard from her and so Thursday evening dad said we’ll file a missing persons report Friday and we kind of went from there,” said Olivia’s brother, Melichi Four Bear.

ND – Tribal Police in New Town searching for missing woman | KFYRTV

NEW TOWN, N.E. – Authorities in New Town are asking for your help in locating a 32-year-old Stanley native not seen since last Tuesday.

Tribal police say that Olivia Keri Lone Bear was last seen leaving Ranchman’s (formerly known as ‘Scenic 23’) the night of Tuesday, Oct. 24 in a teal 2011 Chevy Silverado with a silver tool box in the truck bed. The truck has a North Dakota plate number: 839-BRC.
