Missing Portland teen found in New York City – Portland Press Herald

A 14-year-old Portland girl, missing since Jan. 27, has been found and reunited with her family.

Portland Police said Hilda Vanessa Sanaguaray-Upaya was found in the 43rd Precinct of New York City in an area where her family had previously lived.

Hilda Vanessa Sanaguaray-Upaya, 14, was last seen by her family around 8 a.m. Jan. 27, when she ran away from a group of family members in the area of the Northgate Shopping Center at 91 Auburn St. after an argument. Portland police are asking for information about her whereabouts.

Portland police are searching for a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since Saturday.

Hilda Vanessa Sanaguaray-Upaya, was last seen at around 8 a.m. Jan. 27 near the Northgate Shopping Center at 91 Auburn St., where she ran away from family members, according to Lt. Robert Martin. She also goes by “Vanessa,” and sometimes uses the names “Valentina Diaz” and “Nelly Guaman,” on her social media accounts, he said.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Friends, family and strangers gathered Sunday morning to search for an Oregon Air National Guardsman who no one has heard from since Jan. 6.

The crowd canvassed the area around Sellwood for hours Sunday, looking for Marty Nance. Family say Nance has been with the national guard for 32 years. They say his disappearance is out of character.

Multnomah County sheriff’s deputies found the body of Brian Duncan, 38, on Tuesday, police said. There were no signs of foul play.
