Cyriacks was last seen on Nov. 13, 2013 in Woonsocket. Sanborn County officials suspect foul play in the case, and at this point, they’re questioning whether she’ll ever be found alive.

SD – Officials Continue Search For Woman Missing Nearly 3 Years |

Officials recently searched a small area of land near an irrigation ditch in Beadle County for a Woonsocket woman who disappeared under suspicious circumstances nearly three years ago.

Sanborn County Sheriff Tom Fridley said authorities are continuing to chase leads in the case of Rachel Cyriacks, and the Wednesday effort was another case of that.

Authorities in central South Dakota believe finding a specific quilt may help in the search for a woman who has been missing for more than a year.

On Monday, the Sanborn County Sheriff’s Office released a picture Rachel Cyriacks with a blanket that was presented to her. Anyone who may have seen the blanket is asked to contact law enforcement.

WOONSOCKET — Investigators say they suspect foul play in the disappearance of a Woonsocket woman who has now been missing for a year.

Sanborn County Sheriff Tom Fridley tells The Daily Republic newspaper that neither he nor the family of Rachel Cyriacks think she will be found alive.

WOONSOCKET, SD – Rachel Cyriacks is still missing, but there is a new lead that authorities hope will help them find her.

The Sanborn County Sheriff’s office is holding a silver Chevrolet c1500 pickup that is connected to this case. After looking more closely at the vehicle, officers noticed some damage to the underside of the pickup. That’s a new clue for officers who feared the other leads in the case had dried up.

The Sanborn County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the help in finding a woman who has been missing for more than a week.

Rachel Lucille Cyriacks, 30, of Woonsocket, was last seen at Performance Pet in Mitchell on Dec. 6, and her family has not heard from her since then, according to a news release.
