Family of missing Rolling Meadows man offers $10K reward | abc 7 Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) — The family of a Rolling Meadows man who has been missing from Englewood since Saturday is offering a $10,000 reward for his safe return.

Vasudeva Kethireddy, 76, was last seen in Chicago’s West Englewood entering a bank. He had gone to the South Side neighborhood to collect rent from tenants there. He was last seen on surveillance footage from the Chase Bank at 69th and Ashland.

INDEPENDENCE, IA — The reward for information about missing University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts jumped to $260,000 over the weekend, according to Crime Stoppers of Central Iowa. The 20-year-old’s relatives think she may have been kidnapped and the money will help lead to her return.

“If someone has abducted her, we are pleading with you to please release her,” Tibbetts’ mother, Laura Calderwood, said at a news conference last week. “It is our greatest hope that if someone has her, that they would just release her and claim that money we have raised for her freedom.”

Heather Bond said her son did not qualify for an AMBER Alert because there was no proof of abduction or immediate danger. Instead, valuable time slipped away when Devin first went missing, while Heather filed reports with law enforcement and put out paper fliers to alert her community.
