NC – $5K Reward Offered In Missing Cornelius Teen Case | Cornelius Patch

CORNELIUS, NC — A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the safe return of a 17-year-old Cornelius teen who has been missing since Feb. 8, Cornelius Police said Wednesday.

Samantha Janet Mendez was reported missing last Thursday by her mother, who told police she ran away from home during the day some time between 7:15 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Searchers comb Bismarck for missing woman as volunteer effort expands | Grand Forks Herald

BISMARCK — When Matthew Lone Bear asked Karen Van Fossan if her church in Bismarck could help search for his missing sister, “there was no other answer but yes,” she said.

The minister of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship helped organize the search here for the truck connected to Olivia Lone Bear’s disappearance. Last month, Matthew Lone Bear put out a call for volunteers in Bismarck, Dickinson, Fargo, Grand Forks, Minot, Parshall, Stanley, Watford City and Williston to help search parking lots and streets for the teal 2011 Chevrolet Silverado his sister was last seen driving.

RAPID CITY, SD (KOTA TV) – He was last seen weeks ago, and today we talked with the family of 28-year-old Christopher David Oien about their concerns.

Christopher’s mom, Hope Oien, says “this is just unusual of him. He wouldn’t leave his family for this long. He wouldn’t, he just wouldn’t do this. It is just very unusual behavior for him.”

NC – Two years and no word from missing man | shelbystar.com

It has been two years since a Shelby man vanished.

Sandy Canipe, 48, of Dyer Drive, Shelby, went missing Jan. 16, 2016. Since then, law enforcement agencies have conducted various searches but have come up empty.

Cleveland County Sheriff Alan Norman considers this still an active and ongoing case, but so far investigators have come up with very little in the disappearance.

North Dakota Missing Woman Search Expands Beyond Reservation | U.S. News

NEW TOWN, N.D. (AP) — Relatives of a missing Native American woman have moved their search beyond the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation to North Dakota’s larger cities, the family recently announced.

Olivia Lone Bear, 33, has been missing from New Town for three months. The mother of five was last seen driving a pickup truck on Oct. 24.
