Riverside County sheriff’s deputies and members of the National Park Service are looking for a 58-year-old Azusa man who has not been seen by family members or friends for almost two weeks and whose car showed up at Joshua Tree National Park more than 100 miles away.

Michael Rodriguez left his home around June 20 and hasn’t been seen since then, according to a Riverside County sheriff’s news release.

MENIFEE, CA: Sheriff’s officials ask for leads to help find missing man – Press Enterprise

Almost a day and a half after 61-year-old Thomas Cotton of Menifee was reported missing, sheriff’s deputies have stopped searching the area where he was last seen, but authorities said they were still working to find him.

“We don’t have the search-and-rescue people out there but we are still looking for him,” said Riverside County sheriff’s Deputy Armando Munoz. He said officials will be following up on any new leads that come in on Cotton’s whereabouts.
