Missing woman originally from Clio found dead in Rochester Hills | WNEM

ROYAL OAK, MI (WNEM) – A missing woman who was originally from the Mid-Michigan area has been found dead.

Lt. Spencer with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said investigators found 32-year-old Holly Towery’s remains not far from her 2003 Dodge Durango near Dutton and Livernois in Rochester Hills. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rochester Hills man Matthew Lyzen reported missing after dining alone at expensive restaurants in Rochester

Officials are searching for a Rochester Hills man who uncharacteristically spent a lot of money on two restaurant bills over the weekend, then went missing.

“For him to splurge on any restaurant is not like him,” said Becky Lyzen, whose son — 23-year-old Matthew Lyzen — was last seen at the Rochester Chop House Saturday. “He’s a five-dollar-pizza guy, usually … He ate alone, wasn’t with anyone. He’s never done this before … he’s quite the loner.”
