Chance Englebert was last seen around 7 p.m. on July 6 — and his phone location was last placed at a WTT truck stop in Scottsbluff.

15-year-old Scottsbluff, NE teen missing |

SCOTTSBLUFF – A Scottsbluff teen is missing. 15-year-old Hailey Ferretti is now considered a missing juvenile by Scottsbluff Police. Late Sunday night she climbed out her dining room window after ripping the window’s screen. Her home’s security camera caught her running to the corner to enter a car with what looked like two unidentified people.

Her mother, Theresa called police around 4 a.m. after discovering her daughter was gone.

SCOTTSBLUFF – The missing Broadwater woman luckily found safe out of state last week ended the case, but what set of criteria has to be fulfilled in order to determine someone is a missing person?

According to the Nebraska State Patrol in a search for a missing person time is of the essence. It becomes a cause for concern when someone’s regular pattern seems out of order.

Investigators go by a case-by-case basis because every situation differs. Cases for kids and adults 18 and older are treated differently because adults have the free will to leave. Kids 17 and younger are also eligible for an Amber Alert if certain criteria is met.
