The father of a pregnant woman who went missing last fall says police have hit a “brick wall” in the investigation and is urging people to share any information they have on his daughter.

Kierra Coles, a U.S. Postal Service employee, went missing Oct. 2 after leaving her apartment near 82nd Street and Coles Avenue. At the time, Kierra was three months pregnant and was due to give birth in April.

CHICAGO — Kierra Coles’ family made an emotional plea for someone to come forward with information about her case Sunday, May 5 — trying to breathe new life into the search for the missing postal worker who was pregnant when she disappeared.

According to WGN, friends and family of the 27-year-old passed out flyers near the corner of 81st Street and Vernon Avenue Sunday. Speaking nearby, the family announced the reward for information about her case was increased to more than $46,000.

The family of Jessica Flores is asking for the community’s assistance Saturday as they look continue to look for Flores, according to a release from Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson. Flores, 36, was last seen in Gary in late February, officials said.
